Solo Artist

All thoughout his career Gene has continued to perform solo for many events. Early in his career he sang the National Anthem for the Texas Rangers as they played the New York Yankees in the newly built Ballpark at Arlington. Later he also sang the National Anthem for the Houston Astros as they took on St. Louis Cardinals.

Some of the most memorable times were during the Gulf War as he sang the National Anthem to the soldiers returning on the Freedom Flights to be re-united with the families at Fort Hood. For the next three years Gene and his band performed with the "Soldiers In The Sandbox" Freedom Tour to raise money for relief funds for the soldiers returning from Iraq.

Much of Gene's solo work has been done for churches throughout the country. He really has a passion for this work and enjoys sharing his life and testimony with all he comes in contact with.
