Texas Eagle Dirt Band

The Texas Eagle Dirt Band has been performing all across the nation for quite a while. The band was formed by Gene Snow and Paula Reid as their music continued to increase in popularity and it became eminent and necessary for them. Since that time they have made quite a name for themselves. In 2013, the Texas Eagle Dirt Band was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Gatesville, Texas and was awarded "Song of the Year" with "Kentucky Moon" by Red Steagall at the Texas Troubadour Singer/Songwriter Classic produced by the Bosque Arts Center in Clifton, Texas. Gene was also honored with an Artists Music Guild (AMG) nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year. With such recognition Gene and Paula humbly accept their recent accomplishments as the reality of continuing to follow their love and passion for Country Music.
This journey spans a lifetime of ups and downs in life and the pursuit of the music industry. Songwriting continues to be the backbone of their music. Paula Reid has many songs published, recorded and charted in the country music field. Gene also has songs published, recorded and charted. Many of his songs that have been most successful are in Christian Country and he continues to perform at Cowboy Churches, Prisons and Civic events as a result of his Christian heritage.
The Texas Eagle Dirt Band is a traditional country band featuring Gene Snow, Vocal and Rhythm Guitar,D.C. Cloninger, Fiddle and Vocal, Kurt Henry, Drums and Vocal, Rod Gambrell, Bass Guitar and a Lead Guitar. Although they are considered Classic Country by many, you will be pleasantly surprised when you witness their show. Much variety in music, style, vocals and delivery. This band performs with energy and has a lot of fun entertaining folks. And it shows.
